GAC shined in Paris Motor Show 2024

 

The Paris Motor Show 2024, one of the five most important auto shows globally, was officially kicked off on October 14. Since its debut at this Motor Show in 2018, GAC has once again graced the stage of this international automobile event after 6 years of growth and development. The Group showcased high-quality and cutting-edge products that have been fully verified in various markets across China and around the world. The second generation of AION V has been released as a global strategic model. GAC Motor ES9, GAC Motor E9 PHEV, HYPTEC HT, HYPTEC SSR and other star models made a stunning presence. GAC also unveiled the European Market Program, presenting the future mobility vision for European customers and commencing a new chapter of development in the European market.

The released European Market Program included new markets expansion, green mobility advancement, strong service network establishment, and cultural integration support. Additionally, it positively explored the potential of establishing a tech-center in Europe. According to the plan, GAC aimed to build a comprehensive local ecosystem based on long-term vision and win-win principle, with the goal of establishing the company as a reliable partner and a trusted brand in Europe.

As early as 2022, GAC Group recognized the industrial opportunity, set up the Milan design center in Italy as well as the European headquarters in the Netherlands. Since the beginning of this year, GAC has accelerated the pace to go global and promoted penetration into several European countries within this year. By 2028, GAC plans to have a presence across all European market to fully cater to the diversified needs of local customers. Meanwhile, the Group is proactively facilitating the establishment of local service network, and will complete the construction of European transit warehouses by 2025 for a more efficient parts supply. Gradually, by 2028, a service warranty system covering most European countries will be established.

The second generation AION V made it stunning debut as the Group’s first global strategic model at the Motor Show. With unique experience brought by technologies and aesthetics, the eye-catching AION V will meet European customers next year. Based on in-depth research on customers demand, AION V was crafted by GAC global R & D design team with high quality standards. Not only does it met the full range of European quality and safety standards, but it also offered a more cutting-edge intelligent travel experience through advanced intelligent driving technologies, state-of-the-art battery, motor and electric control technologies, top-notch safety guarantees, as well as a strong exterior and refined interior.

GAC has also joined Thomas Schemera, an expert with over 30 years of working experience in the global automotive industry, to serve as Global Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of GAC International. He will better connect GAC with European customers with new momentum.

Besides the newly-released AION V, other star models, including pure electric vehicles AION Y Plus, HYPTEC SSR, HYPTEC HT, and PHEV GAC Motor E9 and ES9, were exhibited and attracted overseas customers and media.

In addition, GAC also exhibited the cutting-edge technologies in electrification and intelligent driving, namely, home charging pile (EU-norm), A480 supercharger, Quark battery, solid-state battery pack, long-fiber carbon ceramic brake disc, presenting the Group’s strength and layout in new energy sector, as well as its vision for green mobility.

 

 

Through this Motor Show, GAC impressed international customers with its products and technologies, strengthened mutual-trust with global investors and partners, and expanded the "circle of friends" in Europe.
